Default wait for blank on turn to push straight?

live 3/6... great table... tighter players were pretty transparent betting solid hands, donking draw hits etc... and your share of bingo playing, maniac types...

mp1= tightest player at the table, through two hours of play hasn't mixed up his game and is very straight forward... will raise only premium hands JJ+

small blind= reasonably skilled maniac, will lead out w/ any piece of the board, bet draws for value etc. was annoying having him to my left for most of the night

hero has J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 10[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] on button
preflop: utg limps, utg+1 limps, 1 fold, mp1 raises, 2 folds, co calls, hero calls, sb folds, bb calls, utg +1 and 2 tag along

6 players, 12 small bets
flop comes: 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
sb bets, bb calls, both utg's fold, mp1 calls, co calls,
hero???

i did raise.
but i wondered if there was any sense in calling and getting a look at the turn card before i pushed???
