Re: nl 100..... I play bad
I guess my question is.... Is it standard to semibluff then call all in with flush draw??? I mean if you do it 30% of the time it should be profitable no?

Re: nl 100..... I play bad
isolate the weak player preflop by raising yourself, once you get to the flop raise more the first time (doesnt need to be a push) and calling the shove is a math problem.

It'd be different if you had a pair + the nut flush draw, since you'd have more outs, but in this spot both calling and folding on the flop are fine. |

Re: nl 100..... I play bad
You will hit your flush 35% of the time when you get all in on the flop which means you need to be getting 1.8 to 1 to call. Here you are getting much closer to 3:1 to make this call after SB shoves so at that point you have to call.
However, you only have the odds to call because you have already put so much dead money in the pot so if you were pretty sure he was going to shove your raise then it would have been a big mistake to raise the flop. |

Re: nl 100..... I play bad
three aces might also be outs for you, and you have a runner straight draw.
Hand 1: 45.2020 % 44.75% 00.45% { Ad5d } Hand 2: 54.7980 % 54.34% 00.45% { KhKs } even if he has AA, though, you have odds to call. raise bigger on flop; pushing is reasonable. |

Re: nl 100..... I play bad
Raise flop to 50 which has more FE and will price you in to call if he pushes and you still have 45% chance of hitting TP+

Re: nl 100..... I play bad
1) Reload to the max buy-in before the hand.
2) Raise preflop to $5. Limping after 1 limper on the button is yucky-yuck. As played, it's OK. You are short enough that you don't mind getting it all-in on this flop with the nut flush draw. |
