Greetings,
Last Thursday WSEX made some major changes to its poker network. The good news is that the number of disconnect and lag complaints are down qute a bit. The bad news is they are not gone completely. There has been some speculation that the problem may be related to how our platform handles large tournaments. Therefore I have suspended all freerolls for the next three days. Thank you for addressing the lag-time out problem. When you lose a couple pots an hour because you are "timed-out" it is impossible to continue playing.
FWIW I see zero incentive for you to keep your freerolls going. I'm certain that if you take the time to do a data search to see if the players who are habitually playing the freerolls are actually giving you any quality play, you will find they are not. Once someone actually finds your site - let 'em actualy make a deposit and play with the cash - for get the freebies, they are tying up your bandwidth. The only time I had a serious disconnect was the one time I played a freeroll just to see what it was like to play a tournament on wpex.

I'm getting disconnects more frequently since the upgrade. it used to be fairly uncommon and nearly always tied to another application running. I'd guesstimate the current disconnect rate at near one an hour which is far higher than before and they're happening without any competing apps going. The reconnects are faster, however.
This is posted purely for informational purposes, not as a complaint (though I'd love to see it fixed). I've not emailed support. The freerolls won't be missed at all. |

[/ QUOTE ] i'm not depositing on any site where i've never played. the first thing i do when checking out a new site is try a freeroll. for this site which badly needs to bring in new players, dropping the freerolls would be a terrible idea. |

I agree with shutting down the freerolls until we know for sure if they are contributing to the disconnects. |
