Final Pot: t1000 What I found interesting was the bantering and exchanges, which are summarized below: on final bet by CO, I say (Hero/Rview487): I'm sure you have the Ace but I have to call. (END of HAND) stirlingc: lol rosco544: a 9 had you beat too rosco544: 8 outs had you Rview487: that's nice Rview487: your point? rosco544: is my point not obvious....you just threw 150 chips in the garbage Rview487: actually not Rview487: I lost, but you gave me 5:1 to call on your last bet rosco544: lol....5:1.....and you probably had about 10:1 to lose that rosco544: you misread your pot odds I knew I was up against it here, straight, flush, fullhouse...I'm not suggesting that I played this hand well, and I was certain I had lost it. I would appreciate comments as to my play on this hand, and the conversation that occurred after the hand. I'm preparing for a major event in a month, and this was a nothing tourney based on money, but I'm attempting to play some tourneys deep to prepare. Thank you. |

Well he tried to give you 180 chips, so it's probably even there.

Thread hijack:
Can anyone please tell me WTF sb is thinking? I see players do this quite frequently, but can't empathise with their thought process. Do they just see a pretty looking "bet" button and hit it? Or is there any method to the madness. I just can't get into their heads and it bugs me... |

First mistake is getting involved in this kind of chat dialog. Morons won't let up on you in the chat once you have them spun up. Chat like this does nothing but make worse players play better.
You should feel good. Your opponent made two mistakes on the end. First is the obvious lame-o turn call. Second is that he didn't bet enough on the end to make his implied odds call on the turn worthwhile. Truth be told, he lost and you gained. |
