Default QQ against reraise + caller $400 NL 6m

First villian is 4x/1x, pretty bad. Second villian (caller) is 17/7. Is this standard play? I'm taking a minor shot bc of a fish on the table, I play 100$NL usually.

Party Poker
No Limit Holdem Ring game
Blinds: $2/$4
6 players

Stack sizes:
Hero: $800.50
UTG+1: $394
CO: $64.66
Button: $468.40

Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is UTG with Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
<font color="#cc0000">Hero raises to $16</font>, UTG+1 folds, <font color="#cc0000">CO raises all-in $64.66</font>, Button calls, 2 folds, <font color="#cc0000">Hero raises all-in $784.5</font>, <font color="#cc0000">Button calls all-in $403.74</font>.
Uncalled bets: $332.1 returned to Hero.

Tough spot, I'd probably just call here, although honestly folding probably isn't bad.

A 17/7 flat calling a re-raise is usually pretty bad news, he's got JJ+ or AK here the vast majority of the time. Being out of position doesn't help much either. A 17/7 is likely not calling with a speculative hand here for 14% of his stack (lower pairs or suited connectors) - he thinks he probably has the best hand.

I would call and try to keep the pot small; if second villain won't let you do that he has you beat (especially with the dry sidepot).

Hmmm. If villain really is that tight I think the worst he just called CO with was AK. He probably will fold to your push with JJ and I doubt he has TT here ever. I think he'll probably make his hand pretty clear to you postflop so I'd just call preflop and play some poker postflop which will probably result in some b/f, c/f.

How have you been playing? If you have been opening a lot, I think you have to give the second villian credit for recognizing that you open somewhat widely and that second villian is crazy shortstack itching to get it in.

Still, I'm not sure if villian #2 is going to isolate with hands other than AA, KK or if he has something like 88-JJ he might want to call, wanting a cheap showdown with a dry sidepot. I'm just saying I don't think 17/7 necessarily means he has to have a monster to put in chips here.
