Default Opening my own sportsbook. How to?

Hi there,

I want to open my own neighbourhood sportsbook. I have no idea how to do so. What's a requirement is setting up my own web site which is of course not paying big bucks for a license or something. I just want a web site where I can give my neighbourhood people credit and they can bet and at the end of the week I can pay or collect the difference. I am sure there are easy installation sportsbook web systems lying around. The web system doesn't need to include all the payment background stuff.

Any idea how I can proceed with this?

I believe you can piggyback off of other established sites. That is, you recruit the players, then give the players another site's info. The site will set up accounts for you, but you have to settle the debts on your own. I don't know, but I imagine you have to pay the site a percentage.

I would guess that other forums would give you a better answer (therx.com maybe)

where are you located? check out eagledp.com or google pay per head (pph). You recruit the neighboorhood people, give them an account adn password, and the eagledp website/phone number, they take all the action adn you settle up in person like a normal bookie, starting out though, just answer your own phones, you arent going to make enough to warrant the weekly 20$ cost per person.

Check out The Book on Bookies by Charles Oliver. Lots of useful information on how to set up and run a sports book. Good luck.

Is this book in your local Borders or is it an underground sort of thing?

Its not an underground book. The bookstores in my area leave a lot to be desired on gaming, so I found it on Amazon.
