Ken-Gate (Ken Lennard & Russ Georgiev tried to cheat Erik123, others?)

I did a search but didn't find anything on this: Ken-Gate.

Yep, that´s right, Russ G, the tool from RGP.

It all started when Russ published this post on RGP this spring. He also posted numerous emails that he claimed was sent to him by Lennard.

The whole story is just to long to tell here but the (alleged) basic plot is that in 2003 Ken organized a private game in his family's hotel. He invited Martin DeKnijff, Christer Johansson (former winner EPT Paris) and Erik Sagström (Erik123) to play and told them that the game also would include an American billionaire that was a huge fish.

Ken and Russ then rigged a room in Ken's family's hotel in Stockholm. They set up cameras to see the hole cards and the hired dealer was a card mechanic. The plan was to cheat the three invited players.

This is a big issue in Sweden now. Lennaard is writing for the swedish paper Aftonbladet and has admitted that it was Martin de Knijff that was the main target (they were some sort of enemies from long time ago). But Lennaard says that he never went through with the cheating, and that he should not be judged for just discussing the issue with Russ Giorgiev.

Erik Sagström says to Prosharks.se that he believed that he was the main target.

Christer Johansson has confirmed Sagströms story today and says to pokerskarks that Lennaard told him after he confronted him with the Russ post that it was de Knijff that was the main target.

Both Sagström and Johansson says that Lennaard was going to publish what had happened, but he did not do it, and now the players have started to tell the swedish media their side of the story.

The story seems like it is definitely true. Both Sagström and Christer Johansson have come forward and said they think its true.
Just about only one who claim otherwise is of course Ken Lennard.

If anyone is really interested I can do a translation of the Sagström interview.
