Code Poker Statement- Closing US Accounts
I am not sure about the rest to Prima, but here is what Code said:
Dear All, The new US law has prompted some sites to announce plans to abandon the US market in coming days and unfortunately CodePoker, following its main counterparty’s decision, has no choice but to also close all US accounts on Friday 13th 2006. We deeply regret this decision as our will was to continue to provide all of our US customers with money ring games and tournaments. All funds in US accounts will be returned to US players through the original deposit method used as long as this option remains possible. Otherwise, the most convenient payment method given the actual situation will be chosen for each US customer. Unfortunately, we won’t be allowed to pay the October 50% bonus on profits to US players at the end of the month as all accounts will be closed by then. All non-US players will not be affected by those decisions and all affiliate deals remain effective for non-US customers. We will continue to lobby for an express carve-out for online poker and for US player right to play this game from the privacy of their home and computer. Sincerely, CodePoker |

Re: Code Poker Statement- Closing US Accounts
I received a similar e-mail from BetCorp(123Poker and BetHoldem). Anyone know if this a Microgaming decision?
