Default Passive 30/20 breed in party\'s 10/20 games

I have found a bunch of players with similair stats in party's 10/20 6-max games. They never reply in the chat, they always delay a few seconds before they act pre- and postflop and they are experts at "value calls". I don't think I have ever seen them put in one bet "too much".

They never semibluff raise the turn or bluff raise the river.

They 3-bet a bunch of crap in the big blind against (my) steals, but once I cap against them, in position, they play extremly straight forward. I've played like this a couple of hours straight on two tables tonight, and they never seem to adapt. (A decent player would?)

I wonder are they bots?

Suspicious players playing right now: bowbop, TataBus, sweetbeats, ohblahdee, dramace, fuzzysushi, luvbeads, prime_move, gosheva

Their stats are between these ranges (>1000 hands):
vpip: 29-34
pfr: 21-24
aggression factor: 1.4-1.9
wtsd: 40-46
Folded bb to steal: 21-28

I have not studied these players more than a few days. I think that it is not really my job to find out if they are bots or not, so I'm not going to waste much more time on this. I think I can beat them also. I just want to share my "discovery" and see if there is some truth underneath it.

More players that fit the description: nambipambi, simon_sez555

All these players have the same stats on flop, turn and river. Stats like folded to flop bet, folded to turn bet, folded to river bet. Aggression factors on each street are also equal for all these players.

uh, 29-34, 21-24 are huge differences. come back when you have 30k hands of each of these players and their numbers are within 1-2%.

Of course there are "huge" differences when you compare the stats ony by one, especially after only a few thousand hands!

Compare the whole player (all stats, their constant slow betting pace and playing style) instead and you should notice that they are very similiar EVEN after just few thousand hands.

From what I have understood you can 'tweak' your bot in any way you want, so their stats may never fully converge either.

Spiff,

These could well be actual players who have similar styles, and aren't good enough to adapt to your adaptations....when I played at the 10/20 on party there were plenty of guys who would fit that bill.

I was going to move this, but i have no idea where to move it to, so i'm just going to lock it. If you get concrete evidence it would probably be worth taking it to the software forum or IG.
