Wiffed flop, short stack pushes. Now what?
I made a standard raise, not even considering I would be up against the short stack at our table.
I wiff the flop, but the short stack pushes his remaining chips. Do I fold or call and pray I hit a Ace? Can I get away? Re: Wiffed flop, short stack pushes. Now what?
getting almost 4.5:1 I call, your four live outs and the possibility of seven (or even ten) make this playable

Re: Wiffed flop, short stack pushes. Now what?
Bad preflop play. Should have raised all-in preflop instead of making a normal raise.
As played, you have to call. Villain is also committed so villain might not have much either. Probably have seven outs. |

I should have pushed because I was under 10 BB?

I should have pushed because I was under 10 BB? [/ QUOTE ] Yeah. This is a preflop push and its not close. I think you have to call the flop now. |

Re: Wiffed flop, short stack pushes. Now what?
Push pre-flop. Since you didn't, call the flop. You have seven outs (3xA, 4xT) and two cards to hit them = approx 30% equity.
Ok, discount a bit for the times he has AK/AQ, but this is an easy call. Now let's see what everyone else said... |
