Default What About Sending And Receiving Cash Through Registered Mail?

Once again I apologize if I am saying something silly due to lack of knowledge:

Wouldn't it be reasonable and more importantly, NOT AT ALL ILLEGAL, to send and receive cash to and from sites by registered mail? If the amounts were small I doubt there would be too many cases of (usually fraudelant) claims that money was lost in the mail. Some procedure would be needed to deal with those claims but my instincts tell me it wouldn't be a big deal.

Interesting thought process, but I do not know if I can see a casual player sending cash like this. I would clearly do it to be able to play in a profitable game, but I'm not sure the players we want to stay in these games will be up for this somewhat laborious task.

Keep the ideas coming!

Les

Yeah that's true. Banking systems are bypassed. I'd do it but not with a site whos reputation is unproven.

I would hope we have some option that works. Hopefully that will be available. You would feel so eager to wait for the check to arrive in the mail.

I doubt many sites are set up to deal with cash.

David, if this is the best you can come up with, we're doomed.

David,

This has been discussed and is possible, the problem is we want many guys who when they bust their initial few hundred can plug in some numbers on the computer and be back in action right away, having to send a check is hassle enough for enough players to say [censored] it and go to a bar and play keno or whatever.
