Default Fixing leaks?

Hi all, I just started playing limit poker semi seriously (bought poker tracker, 300-1000 hands a day, etc etc) Ive played limit cash before, have an idea of how to play, but find myself down 300 dollars through 5,000 hands of 2/4 and 3/6. My first question is, is this to small of a sample size to be worrying about being down 1bb/100 hands?, and secondly, if I posted my PT stats would someone be able to tell me what my glaring holes and weaknesses were? Thanks for the help.

You really need a sample size of at least 10,000 hands before any meaningful analysis on your PokerTracker stats can be made, and even then your run of cards can have a huge impact on your results (and stats). At this point, you would likely be far better off posting a few specific hands in which you were unsure of your play.

thanks, I thought 5000 might be a little small, If Im still having subpar results after 10-20k hands I will post back and ask for my stats to be analyzed.

Post some hands. Stats too if you like but you'll likely get a bunch of replies that say, in so many words, "Make your stats look more like those in the Tiger Woods thread". So just find the Tiger Woods thread and compare yourself.

Even a small sample size is somewhat predictive. Someone did some math a while ago (but I can't find the thread) and as I recall there's something like an 80% chance you're not playing as good as a 2BB/100 player and a 20% chance you're just running bad.

I know I'm going to get killed for this, but I can't find the Tiger Woods thread. Can someone direct me to it please, thanks.

Apparently, it's been named to something more topical. My apologies

The thread formerly known as the Tiger Woods thread
