Was I to sticky with this hand?

I was wondering if my PreFlop bet was weak or my flop bet was too weak as well?Villian comes over the top,should I fold, call, or raise. I don't know this hand has had me wondering.The player was a solid player, but was also involved in alot of pots. I was definitely seen as a solid player, showing some good hands and taking advantage of it. I wasn't to loose and I wasn't to tight.

raise more preflop. raise more on flop. think pot.
3bet all in.

the word is "too". as in "too sticky". No, after underrepping the hell out of your hand, what are you going to do?

PF raise more...4xBB is the general rule, so $1 is g00t.

Flop bet is not good. I am betting $2 - $2.50 on the flop. More importantly, your bet size here should be consistent with your typical Cbets when you whiff the flop, and I'm assumming you are normally Cbet more than $.75.

As played I think we should call his flop raise and look to get money in on a non [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] turn.

This is pot-limit, so preflop OP could only raise to $0.85, I think.

Bet more on the flop! Betting $0.75 into a $2.50 pot will not amount to anything.
Getting it all in on this flop wouldn't be too bad. On the turn you're only realisticly behind QJ, IMO.

You don't think kings, queens, AJ, tens, flush draws and a slew of other hands raise that weak bet?

Bet pot, 3-bet all in. If he hit a set so be it.

Exactly right. I also think other jacks would raise here. KJ, QJ, JT, J9, ...

And $0.75 PF is fine. I like $0.85 better but $0.75 is fine.
