How much of a woman's opinion of a man has to do with what he drives?

I have a feeling that most men way overestimate this.

yeah really, once my friend Holly got a new Celica, she was showing it to me from a distance. As we were walking closer, I ask, "So did you go with the GT or the 4-banger?"

"I dunno."

"What, did you just buy this car because you thought you'd look cute in it?"

"Yeah, pretty much." [laughing]

Well, yeah, that's the point. I think the line/threshold might be skewed up higher than one might think. only because they tend to know little about automobiles. I don't know, maybe 75K before they sort of do a double take?

But yeah, a common response from several girls when generally talking about cars and whatnot has been, "yeah, I'd look good riding in it."

i think most girls care more about how cute a car is than how much it costs. a guy is gonna impress way more girls in a mini than in a dodge charger, despite the charger costing twice as much.
