Default $100NL: Passivity Kills

Thought I'd post this one to get some input - I believe it was misplayed in about every way possible (including table selection).

Raise it PF?
Raise the flop? Willing to get AI right here?

I'm playing these kinds of hands FAR too passively (read: scared) and it's contributing to my current downswing. Hep a brother out.

Third hand at the table so no reads.

Raise pre, raise flop, as played bet the turn. River is OK. Your equity here is absolutely huge so you need very little fold equity to play it fast as hell.

since sb is short u can just fold preflop, especially because most of the time the button will be coming in raising and ull have to fold.

On the flop this is a MUST RAISE.

On the turn, every player has showen weakness and you have a very good draw - MUST BET (especially because K is a scare card for someone holding a 6 or 7)

Against these stacks I would fold PF.As played I'd Raise the flop big and work from there.

Folding PF is far more important than raising the flop.

As a rule do you generally avoid playing at tables w/this many shortstacks? I think I ended up here because the Avg Pot size was large. Meh!

Pre-Flop: You are in late position with 89s I see where your coming from with the call. I think its a good play.
Flop: You have a very good draw. You have a straight flush draw, in this case I would raise that flop for sure.
Turn: With the weak $1 bets and calls I'd fire here. You should have bet the turn

Umm... NO. If they go AI you call. You are almost always a coin flip and often ahead on this flop, especially against donks betting/calling $1.
