Default DETROIT +350

I seldom bet sports. Back in May I had a co worker put $25 on the tigers to win the AL. My instinct is to let it ride. Am i correct here?

For only $25, yes, let it ride.

I'm going to take the other side for once and say that hedging is ok, and dare I say, +EV, if a book is hanging a bad line on the A's, which WWTS appears to be doing at the moment.

p.s. - I like commas.

Hedging corollary 1: If you would bet the line regardless of your previous bet, and it just happens to be hedging... Thats okay.

Speaking of hedging, how's Crockpot sitting on his $500 at 800 to 1 on Detroit (or something obscene like that)?

man, I'm having a hell of a time figuring out my WS hedges right now. Have $200 on Oak to win $3,074, and $25 on DET to Win $355, plus insane amount of emotional value on OAK already. I'm looking at betting NL to win at +114 for some amount, along with Det to win at +250ish. Anything else I should be looking at?

as of yesterday, WWTS support still insists that the bet will be paid in full. i still don't believe them. i'll probably hedge on the assumption i can settle for 80-1, as that was probably the line they meant to post.

Try to get it on email and get SBR involved if they don't.
