UTG raises to t15555,

hes a pretty tight player, i have him at 18/12 over 50ish hands, but hes pushed the 2 previous hands. Is there any room for a call here for 1/3 of my stack? Twice hes been massive overbet pushes with others in the pot, and hes had the goods both times.

No way you call here. YOu have a read that he's tight and that he's showed down the goods a lot of times. How can you possibly call with those reads? He went all in UTG, so obviously is pretty strong. Fold without a thought here.

All of which is true. Even more important is your position. If you want to play, you must raise to isolate the pusher. Otherwise, the BS in BB will have the odds to call and close the action with all sorts of hands - then you'll be in a dry side pot against a bigger stack. Also BB may just squeeze you out here.

Fold.

What registar said. It might not be a bad call with your read if you were in the BB closing the action, but with 6 people left to act its a standard fold.

Fold sounds like a good idea.

UTG may well have started to push his hands, because he was getting a bit low on chips.

However, you still have time to wait for a better hand to go up against him with, if this is the case.

As you pointed out, he has shown down good hands so far.

Also as other posters have pointed out, there are still 6 players to act after you and you would not like to have other players involved in this hand with you.

If you are BB and villan is SB and no one else is in the pot, then I consider calling.

I agree with the others...

Fold faster when UTG+1. With your reads, call from SB or BB (mebbe push from OTB to isolate).
