beat: scary korean dude threatened to kill me
the post about the shooting at commerce inspired me to relay this story from over the summer at hollywood park (the shadiest, most degenerate-infested casino i've ever been to).
beat: so i was killing a great 40-80 game, which included this rich korean guy who always wears designer jackets and has a cigarillo in his mouth. he's very very bad and transparent, and this session, he was down about 4k and tilting bad. so i get 7c8c in the cutoff, it's folded to me and i raise, he calls in the bb. flop is 10s3d4d and he check-raises me, which means he has air. every time. turn is the 10s. he bets, i raise, he looks like he's about to tear his cards and folds. i show my hand to get him really steaming.. and i guess it does the trick because before i know it, he's saying in broken english: "why you show? you make fun of me? i kill you mother [censored]. i kill you. you come back here i kill you." brag: i won 4k that day. variance: i almost peed myself and am now scared of going back to hp [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]

havent read op yet. I laughed at the title, however as I clicked I came to the realization that it was soley because of the guys race. Had it been a white guy, a black guy, a mexican guy, a chinese guy, ect.. I would been like "oh [censored] I wonder what went down, thats some crazy [censored]!" But a korean guy? it just made me laugh..

I've had my life threatened by foreign morons on 3 separate occasions (one Israeli, one Italian guy, and a Venezuelan). It's just a part of being in a casino. Yawn.
