yeah....coach Zook definitely hurt the Illini this week
one week after a huge win, the Illini program has one of the most embarrassing performances ever, losing to Indiana at home for the first time since the 1970s when it was Coach Lee Corso at Indiana verse Coach Gary Moeller at Illinois. Zook's stupid fake xp and stupider trying to make up for the point was the difference as both teams got 4 tds and 2 fgs. Coach Zook also put a leash on the Illini offense that had 165 yards passing in its first four drives and 22 points on those drives. He should watch Arkansas who ran 34 of their last 36 plays. Who cares about balance when the flood gates are open. Indiana was not within 10 yards on most coverage, yet the Zooker stopped letting having Juice and co. air it out. Also, I have no idea why Illinois was only rushing 3 most of the game verse the Indiana spread attack. Did the coaches forget all the pressure and coverage sacks the d-line got the previous week against Michigan State? Credit to Indiana for excellent kick returns and adjusting by bringing the better blitz scheme on defense. Losing at home to Indiana is as low as it gets in the big10.
