Default Off topic: Legislation appears to outlaw March Madness pools etc.

This may be off topic here, but since this thread has the most traffic and expertise I am posting it here.

I not only enjoy playing poker but participating in the Wagerline contests picking sporting events and of course the March Madness college basketball pools. I was reviewing the wording of the law this afternoon and it appears to make contests that are dependant on the outcome of a sporting event illegal.

This comes from page 219 of the PDF file linked in this forum. It is included in the fantasy sports exemption section.

"(III) No winning outcome is based _ (aa) on the score, pointspread, or any performances of any single real-world team or any combination of such teams; ..."
