Pinny Line for Next WSOP as Indicator
I dont think anyone has posted this yet here. I apologize if they have.
over/under 7650 players. The over is -160 (started -108/-108). I have no idea of the volume, but the line has been up for several days now and the handicappers are predicting that the bill will have little effect. They are not many indicators in the world as strong as where people are placing their money. It is certainly a much stronger indicator than the musings of experts or forum posters. btw - I took the under as a hedge and would be happy to lose it. |

Hmm.. That'definitely promising, but I'd put money on the under and be upset if it won. I'm curious what this would look like if this bill never existed.

[/ QUOTE ] I saw this somewhere else on 2p2 (I think it was Internet forum) and the line at the time was 7850, and it was also -108 on each side. Now the line has moved 200 entrants lower and there is some juice on the under (-123), but still an encouraging sign overall. |

I moved it to under w a 500 bet - 250 a shot- this is not a good indicator until thye start taking 1000+ a shot. Give it a few weeks.....

However, if the gamblers thought the doom of poker was on the horizon the under would have shot to -2000 in about 2 seconds and the over/under line would have kept adjusting down. Overall, it has been fairly stable around the opeining line. So, whether the gamblers as a whole are guessing 6000 players or 10,000 players no one knows. However, it doesnt appear the gamblers are hammering the line down because they think it is 1500 players. Also, Pinny will allow you to place multiple max wagers, so it cant be that the gamblers are sitting around waiting for higher limits. |
