How much am I looking at for this type of site

Say I wanted to make a site similar to this one...

I'm referring to the overall architecture, not the content. Ability to register, a forum, news articles, classifieds, etc.

Assuming I have a lot of content and the layout and graphic design is already in place, how much am I going to spend to implement/update/maintain this type of site.

Can you explain your needs a bit more in depth please.

Forums/articles/register is very breif. What exactly do you want the website to do. What functions are needed.

are you looking for the software/hosting costs of doing it yourself, or are you looking to hire someone to do it for you? you can probably get someone local at $25/hr or some romanian student at $3/hr. figure 20-30 hours for initial deployment (it'll take a quarter of that, but if you can't do it yourself, they'll assume you don't know that) and 2-3 hours a week to maintain.

you can probably buy something 'off the shelf' for $100-400 also if you can figure out how to use a unix shell and install it yourself.
