Default Online ban good or bad for B&M ?

Now that online poker will become difficult for U.S. players, I was trying to decide if B&M cardrooms would get more or less action. You can argue "more" by saying that players now have no other choice, but you can argue "less" by saying that general interest in poker will decline.
I would be curious to hear any opinions on this.

one of the major factors that this [censored] is happening is because b&ms were becoming unpopular.. obviously better for b&ms.

Bad, because online poker was the reason for the current poker boom. Without online poker the number of new B&M players will shrink and several of the new poker rooms (especially in Vegas) will be forced to close.
