Default A stupid question but something I\'ve been wondering.....

This is probably stupid but I've got ask.

This new law will prevent banks from transferring money TO online gambling sites and maybe even places like Neteller. So, what if you are a winning poker player who has a big enoug bankroll online that you do not need to deposit money, only cash out? Will the trasfers FROM poker sites/Neteller to your local bank be affected by this bill also?

I just wondered why a person couldn't put enough money in his online poker account to not have to worry about deposting. I haven't deposited for any reason but bonuses in the last 1 1/2 years, I'm sure there are thousands in the same boat.

Granted I know that many or most all of the reputable poker sites may pull out of the market and I guess their could come a day where they tried to actuallay catch and prosecute the actual player (ie: us).

Just a thought.

Nothing wrong with your statement.

However, with no new fish to stock the pond(no new depositors), the sharks will eventually resort to attacking each other.

All non-Americans are sharks? There is no such thing as a non-American who is a fish?

Of course there is, but without the American market this number of fish vastly drops.

Excellent points. I hadn't thought of any of that. There would still be alot of new overseas money and fish coming in but nothing like it has been for the last several years with all the new US $ and fish.

Thanks for the info, I now see why that idea won't work well.

Sure, go for it.

Now, the fish that bust out every week and need to reload in order to provide the winrate you are accustom to may not be quite as plentiful (or even exist after a month or two), but how is that relevant...right?

For the sites that continue to support USA customers your idea probably won't be necessary because they'll have work arounds for deposits. For sites like Party Poker your idea won't do any good because they just won't let you play anymore.
