Before I mentioned it in my blog I wanted to make sure that I educated myself a little bit more on the state of online poker and what this bill means to all of us.

For the most part, I think they can take their bill and shove it where the sun don't shine. An attempt several years ago to discourage credit card companies from funding online gaming accounts may have caused a slight panic, but in the end, companies like Neteller and other third party operators made it easy for customers to fund their online accounts....."

Everyone knows Negreanu is the most personable and affable poker player. If the democrats win in November he should be sent to Washington to convince Congress to craft some kind of legislation "regulating" online poker. Actually he would be a good president for "PPA" of which I became a member because of a Party reload.

Self-interest probably carries a lot of weight with his unhappiness over the issue. And who can blame him, really? Steady, variance-free income drops.

He's a talented player and a personable human being. But, really, he's repeating points most players in the industry have already made. And he sounds like a spoilt child in name-calling Frist.

I like the guy though for being a hometown boy. He's fun to watch. He just should blog less and entertain more at times.

Lord do I disagree with this.

He seems nice in person, but as a writer he's horrible and his arguments (like the one above) tend to exist on the level of a 10th grander. He's not an apt spokesperson for poker right now.

It doesn't matter how he can type or write, it matters how he interacts with everyday people. I'm not sure of the legality of Canadians being lobbyists so it might be a moot point, I know Mexico lobbies in Washington but maybe they do it through American firms.
