Default Clinton vs. Frist

Let's assume, for a moment, that Hillary Clinton and Bill Frist gain their respective parties' nominations for the 2008 Presidential election.

I will be voting for a third party candidate almost certainly...I would love to see a third party be able to actually get aid just as the other 2 parties get. If this happened i think u would actually see a government out to help the people

Frist is one of the few Republicans Hillary could defeat.

[/ QUOTE ]You seem to not understand how our electoral system works. There will never ever ever ever be more than two major political parties in America unless we have a revolution and we start fresh with a completely new Constitution.

I pretty much never vote for a democrat or a republican, but I would sure as hell vote for Hillary before I would vote for Frist.

I don't follow Hillary, so maybe there's a good reason, but I don't see why she is reviled more than most dems. She tried some health care stuff that I wouldn't support, but pretty much any other dem would. Anything else I would judge her by would be Bill, who was generally pretty conservative for a dem.

What's the big deal, besides her being female?

Its mostly that she was very liberal in college. The Health Care failing is a big part of it as well. Outside of those 2 things tho, shes been very moderate in the Senate.

[/ QUOTE ]I think she is the scum of the earth. But, I would vote for her over Frist. Frist simply can't be allowed to be president. This has nothing to do with poker. This scumbag mofo purposely held back the truth on aids for political purposes. I thought it was one of the worst political acts I have ever seen.

Part of the problem (in addition to whatever disagreements you'd have with her stances, of which I have many) with Clinton running and winning is that I think she'd be as polarizing or more polarizing than Bush has been. Still, I'd vote her over Frist and either no one or a 3rd party over her.

I think I'm being completely reasonable and rational in saying that Frist is on the short list of people who I'd leave the country for if he gets elected. The gambling legislation is only a very small part of that.
