This requires you know someone who resides outside the US. You do know someone. Just think about it. I have an old high school friend who now lives in Toronto. He doesn't play poker but was glad to allow me to use his address and establish a joint account at his bank. I'll pay him a small percentage of any profits monthly. So break out the yearbooks, or look up your relatives in Italy, or something else along those lines.

Won't work if Party (and others) ban US-based IP addresses.

As long as a few major sites continue to accept US customers (and they will), why worry about a setup like this?

An IP Anonymizer at a cost of about $25/year ought to take care of that, although I wonder if there could be any problem caused by a slight delay that a proxy like Anonymizer can introduce.

It's also been established in 500 other threads that while there are many work arounds for the dedicated US online player, it does nothing to address the enormous decimation of our fish-pool. Anything that makes it more difficult than it already is to get money into online poker keeps casual (losing) players off the sites. Does this greatly hurt the profitability of the game, It has yet to be seen for sure, but my guess is, almost certainly.
