Default How can we profit from the new (soon to be laws)?

Alright all of us US players are screwed. Yeah it sucks. Alot of people (including myself) are gonna have to go back to work. I feel pretty fortunate as I have a college degree and military experience.

For every door that closes another one opens. The singing of this bill has to create an oppurtunity to make money. Whats the best idea you can some up with to take advantage of this situation?

I have a feeling that illegal poker rooms will be popping up everywhere. Illegal bookies will also probably see an influx of new money.

Buy shares in American casino companies since

1) people will need to get their fix elsewhere
2) if America decides to legislate and regulate online gambling then these American casinos have a chance at getting a good chunk of market share in the American market

conspiracy theories about harrah's going to buyout some of the online poker market. Good time to buy Harrah's? Good time to buy land based casino stock in general?

burko,

many of these casino resorts' shares are traded on the NYSE and NASDAQ.

try WYNN, MGM, HET, etc.

My company sells phone 'cards' over the net; it's an access number & a unique pin that is e-mailed to the customer. What's to stop that unique pin being for $100 in poker credits as opposed to x minutes on a phone 'card'?
