I have a strong feeling that he had a set. This is no way a 'bad=beat' post. I was just wondering if you guys will wait till the river, make sure it's safe before you make your move since a lot of cards can still hurt you at the river.
This is my first ever post in 2+2, although I've been reading for a long time. Thank you very much for any input.

What makes you think he has a set? He didn't put in a full preflop raise and he lead the flop and turn weakly. If CO does have QQ or KK they played them badly. I think you probably see QK or maybe K9s more than a set. Of course this is all read dependent.

I like your play you get the most from flush draws and two pair combos out there.

Bottom line is that if you're worried about getting your money in as a big favourite you need to find a different game to play.

I would have actually put more action in EARLIER in the hand.

Awful flop action there. CO gave himself 7-1 pot odds to make any draw he wanted, (which is enough to fill up to a boat or flush.)

A better line would have been to bet ~10ish into the PF raiser, and lead the turn. That, or checkraised him to full pot on the flop.
