OT: Why SNGs are easy monies part 4348891
This hand and the outcome isn't interesting (actually BBs overcall is pretty bad but that's not the point), BUT note UTG's claim
***** Hand History for Game 5302288718 ***** NL Texas Hold'em 55 Buy-in Trny:29556035 Level:6 Blinds(300/600) - Tuesday, October 03, 00:59:59 ET 2006 Table Speed #1290744 (Real Money) Seat 6 is the button Total number of players : 4 Seat 2: UTG ( 5220 ) Seat 6: illegit ( 2800 ) Seat 7: SB ( 5215 ) Seat 9: BB ( 6765 ) Trny:29556035 Level:6 Blinds(300/600) ** Dealing down cards ** Dealt to illegit [ Kh Kd ] UTG folds. illegit is all-In [2800] SB is all-In [4915] UTG: folded 10s BB calls [4615]. ** Dealing Flop ** [ 5h, 8h, 2d ] ** Dealing Turn ** [ Jd ] ** Dealing River ** [ 4c ] xisok shows [ Js, Ah ] a pair of jacks. BB shows [ 9h, 9d ] a pair of nines. illegit shows [ Kh, Kd ] a pair of kings. SB wins 4830 chips from side pot #1 with a pair of jacks. illegit wins 8400 chips from the main pot with a pair of kings. This guy OPENfolded TT in that spot. Afterwards I said something along the lines of "WTF" to which he responded with this gem, i [censored] you not: "I didn't want to race". What makes it worse is, except for the BB all calling ranges behind him were real tight. And BB wasn't even exceptionally loose or anything. |
