i guess i'll start this thread by saying i hope i get dallas + 4 by kickoff...do i smell a trap? I have a feeling this is one of those games bill parcels is going to have his team ready for this match up....

Definitely would load up on Philly, there is value at -2 and good chance of a middle.

I think a big factor here will be Westbrook.

If Westbrook is healthy I think the line moves a point or two. It was obvious how much Philly missed him, even against the Pack.

i think with a healthy Westbrook, we see a steamroller from Philly here. Two, three touchdowns. They're going to have a tremendous amount of motivational material from TO, compared to Dallas as a team just being brought down by all the focus on TO.

My bad, on the half-ass response, didn't check injury report. Line seems more reasonable now that I know Westbrook is up in the air.

I had a feeling he'd have his team ready for last season's 1st matchup in a must-win game after having lost a home division game already...most people thought I was crazy because the Eagles were better the year prior.

Sorta the same thing this year but different; I like Philly a lot.

Not to be a nit but didn't this line open Phil -1 on Pinny? If so then there has already been a move of 1.5 based more than likely on the Eagles blowing out a bad Packer team last night(what did that prove?). If it gets to 3 I'm on Dallas.

But i'd say the emotional side is going to be on Philly and not Dallas.

The entire Dallas team isn't going to get worked up over Team Obliterator.

However, the entire city of Philly is going to be up for smashing TO's head in.

I'd strongly put the intangible emotional factors on the side of Philly.

And if anything, I think they'll be negative for Dallas as the entire focus of this week and all the media is going to be on the TO homecoming, and not on the Dallas Cowboys team.

PHL needs Westbrook, at least one of Brown+Stallworth, and at least one of Hood+Sheppard for this line to be good for Eagles bettors. With at least 3 of the above, plus emotion, plus Bledsoe v a great pass rush, PHL should win by at least 4-7.

If they get 4 or 5 guys back, I like this line a lot.

Without Westbrook, or Lito+Hood missing, I don't like it.

Okay, Westbrook will play. Brown will play, I spoke to Lito Sheppard, he's practiced and will play. Hood will not play. Stallworth is still out with hammy problem.

At -1.5, this is likely a solid value.
