Sunpoker account locked...mailing check

Just spoke with CS at sunpoker. As of today, they are closing all US accounts, and sending a check. She said it would take 4 weeks to get it. Wish I would have withdrawn earlier. Sorry if this one was already mentioned.

My account isn't locked. Can someone else confirm theirs is locked before I initiate my cashout? I've still got bonuses to clear on Sun Poker and would hate to fall victem to a prank if that's what this is.

The rumors have been that today would be the day Crypto would shut down access to Ecash for their US customers. I still have access to my account at this moment. I am taking the bulk of my balance out, and leaving a little to work off some bonuses while I can. Not going to take the risk of having $1.5k tied up for a month... especially after seeing how Littlewoods handled their US account closures. (I'm STILL waiting for that check.)

I'm not sure if you're aware of the recent developments in US online
gaming industry. In short, the US government has passed a law
that would prohibit banks, credit card companies, and other
financial institutions from processing gambling funds. This
controversial act was attached to a popular and completely
unrelated bill regarding Port Security (HR 4954) early Saturday morning.
In this way, the act was passed because representatives were more
concerned with the major bill being made law and knew only in the
final minutes of the attachment.

It does not make it illegal for US citizens to play online, however

these events at CryptoLogic and should the position change, we

I cashed out my Sunpoker account yesterday, but have not received any money into my Neteller account yet. I'm at work and can't check if my account has been locked or not.

I have a few hundred in Poker Plex as well and have been waiting on a PIN # to cash that money out. I might have to call them this evening to figure out what to do there.

Weird, I just tried logging again, and was able to successfully get in. I was able to request a Neteller withdrawal. Lets see if they actually process it.
