Default Stop talking about it at the tables

Just stop. Talk about it here if you just can't keep your mouth shut. Seasoned pros are running for the hills, oblivious fish are sticking around because they haven't heard anything about it. This is a good thing. Stop [censored] it up by sending everyone into a panic. If you're going to say anything, say that everything's going to be alright and x pokersite isn't going anywhere. We need these fish for the next couple months, stop scaring them off. That is all.

By that rationale, we should sit into the rocky tables full of seasoned pros and try to cause them to panic. As with poker, it's all situational.

Perhaps you should all make a concerted effort to send them all to stars (?), whilst you still have an open line of communication.

I think it's probably better to educate people now, rather than them getting an email from party and thinking "Well, I guess this is the end then".

Wrong. You need to tell people on Party that the site will no longer accept US customers soon so that they get their money out without any interuptions. If they do that, there is a chance they will continue to play somewhere else. If you let them get stuck in a huge hassle, there is a much better chance that they will never want to play poker online again out of fear.

This is so wrong..Lack of public awareness is why this Bill got passed under the radar in the first place..What we need now is the masses to be educated and to take action..Worrying about sucking a fish dry for a few months is incredibly short sighted..

stigmata and mmbt0ne make very good points. The only thing I wouldn't agree with is sending the fish to Stars since they are very likely to shut off the US as well. Send em all to WPEX... ugly as it may be =/

Yep, and educate them about sites that have declared they will still serve US customers

Bad plan. If you must, send them to a site that isn't going to ban them next week.
