Default I just spoke with an executive from UB

Had a long conversation. Your money in UB is kept at the Royal Bank of Scotland. 100% of the money is kept in a non-investment account, so there is a guarantee that you will be able to cash out EVEN IF EVERY OTHER PLAYER ON THE SITE CASHES OUT BEFORE YOU. Therefore, your money is safe, and there is no need to pull out.

I would however remove ties to Netteller, PayPal, and Firepay. Keep your bank account linked to UB, make deposits through wire transfers, and cash out with checks.

UB has also confirmed that if and when the banks do enforce the ban on internet gambling, they will honor all transactions with any foreign bank even if your residence is in the United States.

The IP block is a different story and could cause complications. However, the law is a bit ambiguous on that, and there is a good chance that it will not be enforced. Even if it is enforced, it will be very very difficult to monitor.

So the bottom line is that after a detailed conversation with an exec at UB, I am comfortable that playing there will be sustainable. (You may have to get a foreign bank account sometime in the future, but for now that is not a problem.)

I cashed out all but 10K from Party today (I'll be using that only until my UB account is set up).

partypoker has a 10k a day withdrawl limit, prima poker takes likes a month to cash out. I've used UB for 2-3 years and have cashed out large amounts of money very quickly with no hassle ever. KFF i recently have been cashing out from them and had no problem (to neteller), i used to have problems with firepay.
