Default European players vs American players

Intuitively, one would think that the US sharks would be the best in the world (having joined from the start, where as most europeans started later, party expanded in the US first).

However, we spoke to Party and apparently they say that the average european player has less of an average loss (after rake) than the US average player. This would mean that a site without US players would be tougher, all else equal.

I think this is perhaps because the game isnt as popular/cultural in Europe, so only the more keen (ie good) players play.

I agree that the quality of the games will be adversely effected. This happened when party pulled rakeback and I kept playing at Multipoker to clear a bonus. The games at Party were so much better that even with the bonus and RakeBack playing at Multi was not worth it. Also, MultiPoker stated that 20% of Swedes are winners and 10% of players overall. So there is definite evidence that Scandinavians are better, but I'm not certain about Brits/Irish/Canadians. Therefore, a decline in game quality can be expected but its extent is hard to predict.

I'm going to guess that Party did not look at this in terms of BB/100. U.S. players on average have higher wages then the rest of the world. That means they will be playing higher stakes then average. So they should obviously be losing more on average as well.
