HUGELY important: locations of poker sites
Guys, as you know, Party Poker and Poker Stars are planning to close their doors to US customers as soon as the President signs the bill into law (note that you will still be able to cash out).
On the other hand, some other sites have indicated that as yet, they plan to remain active within the United States. I think that a lot of the determining factor has to do with the location of the sites. If the sites are in a country that has a cooperative relationship with the United States (eg anywhere in the UK), they would be more inclined to pull out. But if they are located in a country with no ties and no extradition, they are more inclined to take US customers. I know that Party Poker and Poker Stars are based in Gibraltar - which is owned by the UK. I was wondering if anyone could post the locations of the other major sites (Paradise, UB, Bodog, etc). Thanks, Samo |

Mansion is Gibraltar. UB is Canada, I think, also think that it is out of an Indian Reservastion in Canada so they may be out of reach a little be more than Canada proper.

Party/Pacific/Crypto/Paradise are listed in the UK so it is incredibly easy for the US Govt to go after them and harm them plus no investor will touch them if they continue to go after US business. |

Re: HUGELY important: locations of poker sites
I think Stars were wanting to list, which is why they have more of a decision to make.
The listed companies all seem to be going for bans the non listed are planning on ignoring it. |
