Default *NOTICE* I suggest all bonus whores read

Due to the recent unfortunate legal stance of the US as well as the quick surrendor of the US by major online gambling sites 888 (pacific) and partygaming (partypoker) I suggest all bonuswhores try to get thier money out of any nonmajor pokersites as well as any major or minor casinos. Having money on Party/Stars/Fulltilt/UB until the last second your allowed to play is not to risky of a move since said sites still have to protect their non-US repuation, hence its very unlikely that they will attempt to rob you. Small sites that are privately owned are more likely to freak at the impending birage of cashouts and hence possibly shut down and no longer honor them. Online casinos, which are traditionally shady, are soon to have actual law to back the bs which many of them have been trying to pull for years anyhow.

Hence I would say that depositing money on any small site runs a high risk of either having your funds stolen, or more likely have your funds frozen to delay cashouts. I would not trust anything ongame, and since webdollar (boss) has normally very slow cashouts, you may as well start your money on the way out since they will likely be stopping US business I'd think.

Also, so far WSEX has appearently taken a stand for not closing off US customers, so anyone coming off of small sites or wants a place to settle down at for a nice deal, might as well let WPEX grow. Also, due to bodogs current player base and Calvin Ayre caring very little for US sportsbook law, I can see bodog staying open as well. Stars/UB/Full-tilt are still in the air, though they will not be stealing your money, and cypro will almost indefinitely be banning US players.

I am aware that most of you are probably aware of most if not all of what I have said, but since this forum, while greatly crippling my progression at playing poker, has helped me understand the online poker world as a whole much better, and hence I hope that this post helped inform at least a few people of at least a few things to help them manage their money and understand how the situation will likely play out.

Have a nice night folks, I have class in the morning. I think I might go to all my classes tomorrow for a change....

I am working on cashing everything to neteller and then probably cashing out from neteller...I might leave a small amount and send it to WPEX...it seems as if my online poker career has now come to an end.

WPEX is the place for folks to put their money now. They will simply send you a cheque when you need to cash out of their site. I would imagine WPEX is a safer place to keep your money than Neteller as this legislation gets put into effect in the near future.

We need some predictions of the sites likely to continue to take US players.

I think Paradise is a good candidate. They didn't panic when their CEO got arrested, so they should be OK.

Who else?

All listed companies will almost certainly ban US players, including Paradise, as having your main business as a clearly defined illegal activity does not sit well with having public shareholders. Best bet for survivers is US sportsbooks based offshore who are already clearly contravening US law and will have no issue of ignoring this one too. Also privately held poker sites who do not want to seek an exit in the future will probably continue to try to carry on in business. The interesting thing will be how hard it is to get cash onto these sites after the law is passed.

Actually, I would expect to see some extra-juicy bonuses in the very near future from the sites which decide to stick around.

Neteller is going to be dodgy for Americans, so no.

I pretty much think about the same. The sites left will want the biggest piece of the cake. I predict it'll be juicy
