Uh oh, what are the chances I knocked her up?
No, this isn't a brag post, and no, you aren't getting pics, but I just had sex with a girl, and it was in the heat of passion and we didn't use protection. Yes, that's retarded, I know.
Anyway, the question is, about what are the odds she got pregnant? She's currently on the tail-end of her period, if that matters. Should she go get the morning-after pill? How worried should I be? We're both kind of uneasy about things now... argh. oh and yes i know i SSCKM. [edit]: I called a 24/7 hotline about the morning-after pill, and the woman at the other end actually advised against it, saying that since she's at the end of her period, the chances of her conceiving are virtually nil, and it's not worth the risk of the side effects of the pill... is that legit? |

Re: Uh oh, what are the chances I knocked her up?
not as good as you think.
contrary to what your nuns and teachers want you to think, you don't get every girl you have sex with preggers, and you don't get aids either. i think middle of the cycle is the most fertile time anyway |

Re: Uh oh, what are the chances I knocked her up?
Well the reason I asked is I called a 24/7 hotline about it, and the woman at the other end actually advised against it, saying that since she's at the end of her period, the chances of her conceiving are virtually nil, and it's not worth the risk of the side effects of the morning after pill... is that legit?

Re: Uh oh, what are the chances I knocked her up?
From what I recall women are more likely to become preggo right before they start. Get the pill to make sure.

Re: Uh oh, what are the chances I knocked her up?
"A woman is usually able to get pregnant for about 5 days each month, when ovulation occurs. On average, ovulation occurs 12 to 16 days before the menstrual period begins. The key to becoming pregnant is determining when ovulation will occur. Because sperm can live for 3 to 5 days in a woman's reproductive tract, it is possible to become pregnant if intercourse occurs several days before ovulation."

Re: Uh oh, what are the chances I knocked her up?
dude, no worries, there is no egg in womb at this time. Your semen will stay alive for 2 days, but it still won't get there in time. As million pointed out, she is only fertile in the middle of her cycle. I had a roommate in college who had a live-in gf and they had a lot of sex, never using any kind of birth control. It is all in the timing.
