Default PartyMonster Rake System

Fellow monster players,

I’ve decided to start a new thread and bring the conversation to a topic that seems to have a lot of opinion. Rakes.

Monster is a new game to the company, and because of that we have spent considerable time talking to players and experts in an effort to make sure that what we offer is competitive and attractive to monster players. At this point there is nothing more important to us than constructive feedback. Although there are many areas that deserve our attention, the sense is that the rake system has sparked the most interest from various players. After compiling feedback from your responses on the rake system, we will have a better understanding of what works and what doesn’t.

As a new monster site we looked at the rake system as something that would be important to the players. The first question was whether we should have a rake system at all. The initial feedback was that a rake system was not only important, but a necessity to bring in new players and keep the site relatively competitive.

We looked at the rake systems of our competitors and came up with a system that we felt would work for our initial launch.

We will continue to evaluate the rake system, including whether we need a system at all, and take feedback from players. It doesn’t appear that there is a perfect rake system out there just yet, so our player’s feedback on this, in particular, will be very valuable and much appreciated.

What other rake systems have you seen/used?

Monster is not a simple game to perfect. How do we ensure new players feel comfortable playing for real money?

Do you like our rake system and why?

What suggestions do you have for our current rake system?

Much appreciated,

Sriva Monstahari

While I like the current system, I'm a little concerned that I may not be contributing enough monies to this "Monster". I understand the "Monster" brings in the fish, so if I were to pay two dollars a pot I would bring in twice as many fish.

Please at least double the current "Monster" take.

Thanks,
Ed

I agree with Ed. I don't think we are paying anywhere near enough rake. I'd rather get it up near 20% pot. Lets get rid of every good player on the site altogether and the fish will breed.

Thats right, because as a new player myself not so long ago I spent ages looking for the site where I could pay as much money as possible in rake!

Remember, every extra dollar paid to the rake is a dollar less that you can lose to other players!
