Default It is all over: the text of the bill

Here is the text of the bill. It starts on page 213. All funding of internet poker sites is illegal. That kills banks, credit cards, and even netteller. Internet poker as we know it is over.

Unfucking real.

They tried this in Italy a year ago. Now Italy has reversed and is going to regulate online gaming.

(That is what I have read on 2+2 anyway.)

AJ,

The worst possible language is in the text. The very worst and most robust. The only possible loophole is where they say something like "unable to tell if it is gambling related".

I don't think so... this bill is as unfavorable as it could have possibly been. It evens includes a section on ISP restricting access to online gambling sites(p. 239 of the bill).

I understand all that, I meant in creating this post. What does it accomplish? No one knows for sure what kind of an effect it will have at this point in time. This stuff has been posted over and over in various forums. There was no need to create another one here. Panicking and causing panic isn't going to solve anything.

Well, we almost ceratinly have a good while (6-9 months prob.) before most of this is put into effect...and it's not like anybody is making you stay in the US. :/
