im interested in the responses here cause i often have problems with mid set. as a holdem player, i want to pot raise flop here, and if not, pot riase turn. but this is ignoring what kind of hand the bettor has. someone care to give a range?

Well the bettor here posted so his range is pretty huge. Even without the post could just be naked flush draw, set, two pair, combo draws and combos of these.

I'm cool with the flat call in position on the flop. If a bad turn card comes and they go nuts you can prob fold. I would now pot it with that great turn card.

No, for value. The runner runner flush draw and gutshot add a decent amount of strength as well. At this point you assume that the betting range of the original bettor is not restricted to top set. Which of course it's not.
