Even the players didn't care about it until relatively recently. Most of the better players used to turn it down in the olden days, especially those that had played post-season games. That was when it was played on the mainland every year. Then the NFL had the stroke of genius to move it to Hawaii, and to pay all expenses for the families to go over there for a week or so. Ain't no football player big and bad enough to tell mamma she ain't going on a free vacation to Hawaii in February. [img]/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img]

Think about it--24 weeks of football and they want you to play another [censored] game, and this one doesn't even matter. I'd probably pull a Tom Brady and be "injured." Also, is Ben Roethlisberger really not one of the top 6 QBs in the AFC?
