beat: i have to pay for my own tuition
this is the first time i've used my poker winnings for a something that actually has significance in my life. still really [censored] to have to take out 5k from my br to pay the damn school. booo. hey, maybe now it'll legitimize my playing in my parents' eyes, though...

try taking 5k out for tuition when you just lost a little over 11k, leaving you with about 4k left of a roll. yay. |

Re: beat: i have to pay for my own tuition
I have to pay for my own tuition but I don't have to start making payments on the loan until 6 months after I graduate or drop out. Thank god for subsidized loans loans.. but I'm still thinking of college hopping my whole life to cheat the system.

Re: beat: i have to pay for my own tuition
I had to pull out a 30K private loan to pay for my last year at USC. I've been paying ~$350/mo for the last 2 years and the outstanding balance has barely budged. Honestly it's that loan debt that has really motivated me to start playing poker seriously. Sux...

Re: beat: i have to pay for my own tuition
I'm very proud that I'm in the position to be able to pay for myself. I think as a result I can appreciate the experience more then my peers.
