Default (60) JJ...induce or bet?

Villain got his chips when he limped 44 PF and called a 10bb raise then hit his set.

nice play, if it were a little more (450) I could find a fold on the river.

I just hate calling this after he calls pf oop, check calls the flop, checks the turn and leads the river. Do you think he's floating here?

It may be a bit tight, but I like your line.

I tend to bet this turn because

1.) Charges a lone heart in Villain's hand or other draws he might still have
2.) Shows big strength after a scare card so even a donk will tend to let it go, which is what you want with a strong but vulnerable hand
3.) you are done putting money in after that

I mean I guess you might induce a bet from a weaker hand on the river but my primary concern is not to get cute and just to take it down or find out if I'm beat. It's not a WA/WB my hand is still vulnerable so I want to lean towards betting.

If this guy called a 10bb raise pf he sucks and will prob call down with a fair amount of worse hands bet the turn. Not to mention it doesn't let him see a free heart.

Charging the heart on the turn is probably negated by the donk betting an A on the river trying to induce your "better" ace to fold. I think Mike played this well.

Huh? Calling twice and then betting Ax that he whiffed totally? Very few donks are THAT stupid IMHO.

Edit: Oh, wait, I see what you are saying, c/c turn THEN he bluffs the river. Well, like I said, I'm really betting just to take it down on the turn, rather than get cute with a highly vulnerable hand.

I'm not saying a turn check is horrible, I just prefer a bet.
