Seneca Niagara Casino Adds Bad Beat Jackpot...

After what seemed to be years of talking about it, Seneca Niagara Casino starts the bad beat jackpot on October 1st. Quad dueces on stud and hold'em have to get beaten, and quad 9s on the omaha games. My guess is that the amount of 2-4 limit games will rise as the bad beat jackpot rises. People are going to want to take a crack at it for as little amount of money possible. Anyone know of any other bad beat jackpots within, lets say, 4 hours of Niagara Falls? I am not sure about Canada, Detroit, etc...whether or not they have a bad beat. Drop me a line if you know of one...

BBJ's are a bad beat. Can't say I'm happy about this.

Quad deuces in holdem? Wow, that's a stiff requirement. By far our most common bad beat here involves Aces full of Jacks/Queens/Kings beaten by quad aces with 3 aces on board. Look for big jackpots to build up...

Detroit card rooms have bad beat jackpots with a $1 drop.

Greektown is aces full of jacks beaten by quads or better. I think Motor City casino is aces full of tens...

Bad beat jackpots suck, except for the time I got a table share of $1,712. Hmmmm.

Whats the drop for this? They already had a $4 rake right? Assuming its $1 then $5 is pretty steep on $2 $4 and $3 $6.

I just moved back to buffalo and am looking for a decent sized game. They get anything $8 $16 or higher going?

They have had $5-10 limit going lately, but thats the biggest limit game I've seen. Yeah, the rake on 2-4, 3-6 is unbeatable as is...throw that extra buck in the mix and now its really disgusting. ($3 rake on the flop NO MATTER the pot size, $1 at 40...+ $1 for the bad beat after $20.) Yet people continue to flood the board to sign up for these terrible limit games. It will be even worse when the jackpots get huge.
