Default dumb monitor question

Ok. I don't know a whole lot about monitors. I need to know approximately how many full-size party tables will fit on certain screen sizes & resolutions.

So, how many full size tables can I have on:
-17" 1280x1024
-19" 1280x1024
-20.1" 1600x1200

Thanks in advance for any help.

(Full sized) poker windows are almost always 800x600. So, if you want to know how many windows fit in "X x Y", divide X by 800 and round down. Then divide Y by 600 and round down. Multiply those two answers together to find the number of non-overlapped tables.

(The only one that can hold more than 1 table is the 1600x1200. It holds 4.)

Well, the 'standard' poker table window size is 800 x 600 so, strictly speaking, you can place only single one on 17"/19" montitor and four on 20"/21".
PartyPoker, though now has a feature to resize all your open table to fit into the screen without overlap, so you can actually play four table on 17"/19". The tables look will be slighter worse, but still usable.

I figured he knew this, when he mentioned "full-size party tables".

Yes, I did know that. Just wanted to know what kind of monitor I needed to get to play several full size tables w/o overlap. I currently play on my laptop and can only fit 2 full size. Looking to change that.

Thanks for the help Sam.
