i figured with those stacks it didnt matter and it would more likely get it on the river if i got a bit..

either way hes commited and has 20 back on the turn if i 3/4 or pot

if you just bet 30 on the turn int 37, he has 40 on the river into 100. if you woulda bet 35, he would have 35 left into 110.

Giving him great odds on the river is ebtter than giving him 2:1 if you can help it.

I am unsure about the river as you may lose a lot of value from made hands. I know he played quite passively and that he could easily have a draw on this board but I don't know if checking the river is good here. This is another reason why betting more on the turn is best.

Bet the turn harder so a river shove wont be as much compared to the pot.

I don't know about this...

well, I am usually a player who would bet here, and I think it's probably correct to. The river seems somewhat good for a bluff given that he has a credible bluff size... He also may bet some of the hands for you as it does look like you have AK here - 2 weak bets and a check... or A-x of clubs, 89...

true,

the pot is too big compared to stacks to induce a bluff
