Default Computer Set Up for multitabling

Im looking to buy a whole new set up for playing poker and was wondering if anyone has any recommendations on what to get. I currently play only 4 tables at once, just because playing on only 1 screen with more is too tough for me. I curious what other multitable players have for a set up. How many screens, how big, and how much memory in their computer to run very efficiently.

You will probably get better responses in Computer forum.

In short, any decent PC with dual monitor support will do. Monitors should support 1600x1200 (meaning it is going to be 20"/21" TFT screens) - it will give you eight non-overlapping full size tables.

A $1K PC (without monitors) will do approximately as well as $10K monster regarding poker.

Absolutely false if you multi table party and use PT and large dbs.

I just purchased the fastest Dell sells (core2 duo, 4mb Lcache, maxed everything else), and I only installed poker related software, (everything else on diff computer), and I can already get the CPU bouncing from 30%-50%.

Built your own computer. It is not as hard as it sounds.

Get the top or near the top of the line in everything. And get a lot of RAM (2GB) from a great RAM company such as "Crucial." My computer only lags if I leave Party on for 24+ hrs.

And if you can, get the Dell 30". Yes, it is worth it even if you have to spend $350+ on a video card.

If this is all too expensive for you, pretend you went all-in pre-flop with Aces and got them cracked. Twice.
