Default Am I too weaktight? Flopped straight, every draw gets there by river

Villain is 50/13/1.87 over 200 hands. Usually hands with him are pretty easy and overall I've been winning from him.

I hate flopping straights, because every street they seem to get worse. First the flush hits on the turn, and then a jack comes on the river, giving me the low-end of a one card straight, and any ace is beating me. Is there any reason to call here?

I think one of my biggest leaks is making big laydowns. I really don't know what to do about it, I think I just have this huge fear of looking like a big fish that can't let his TPTK go when he's obviously dominated. So I think that I'm throwing away winning hands more often than I should. How can I tell if my hand is good?

I think you have to fold this on the river.

I would have bet the turn though ( for about 7.5 ). No reason to put him on the flush here. He could just as well have TP og two pairs here.

I'd bet turn and check behind on river.

First of all your flop raise was excellent. Turn check is something I do maybe 50% of the time here and is read dependent, river is just evil and as played is an easy fold. Bad luck man, next time.
