Default Poker/Ski Camp Whistler 06/07?

Hi!

Im most likely going to spend 3-4 months of the winther in a ski resort (most likely Whistler, Canada).

My friends moan about how they have to work , girlfriends not granting permission (WHIPPED) - your basic BLABLABLA!

...So they can't spend 3-4 months skiing in Canada.

Im going to ski, do a bit of work via the Internet (I am an IT-consultant) - and play a lot of online-poker, I hope!

So I was wondering, if anybody thought "hey that sounds like a lot of fun, I WANT IN"?

It's more fun when you are a few people or a group rather than being all alone. The cost of living also goes down etc etc.

Anybody interested? Im thinking jan 1st to some time in April or something like that.

The cost of a place to stay is likely goiing to be something like 800$ a month, and like 1000$ for a ski pass for the entire season. I dont have a place to stay yet, so the prices are estimates from people I have talked to/read about.

Anybody interested?

In any ski town there are numerous opportunities for low cost living with dirtbag ski bums. When I lived that lifestyle the laundrymat always had lots of "looking for room mate" notices. But since then the Internet was invented so that's probably a better place to start.

Count me in as semi-interested, too. My participation would depend on the actual cost, my current financial situation, and potential legal roadblocks as a US citizen (I'm guessing none, but who knows).

I have absolutely no idea about what I want to do with the next ½-1 year of my life, and this definately sounds like fun (and I would like to improve my skiing from falling ==> laughing at the ones lying down).

Do you have any idea about how much it would cost to "sustain life"? I'm thinking about price of food, clothing and stuff on the location. Or to ask in an other way, how much would I have to win a month/have in the bank to be able to pay my part of the fun?

QFT. It's like Disneyland with snow. But replace rollercoasters with hot chicks that are looking to get laid. With drugs. Lots of lots of drugs.
